Englewood, CO – September 16, 2015 – Aytu BioScience, Inc. (OTCQB: AYTU), a specialty healthcare company focused on developing treatments for urological and related conditions, will present new data at the American Society for Reproductive Medicine’s annual meeting. The data are from a study utilizing Aytu’s MiOXSYS™ System to measure oxidative stress levels in semen, which is broadly implicated as a major cause of idiopathic male infertility.

Josh Disbrow, Chief Executive Officer of Aytu BioScience, Inc., stated, “We believe the data from this study will further demonstrate the importance of measuring oxidation-reduction potential (ORP), and will highlight the potential of our MiOXSYS™ System as a valuable tool for assessing ORP efficiently in the clinical setting.”

In the future, MiOXSYS™ may guide treatment, such as antioxidant supplements and lifestyle modifications that reduce oxidative stress, if high ORP is demonstrated to be a potential cause of infertility.

The study’s principle investigator, Ashok Agarwal, Ph.D., Director of the Glickman Urological & Kidney Institute’s Andrology Center at Cleveland Clinic and Director of the American Center for Reproductive Medicine, will present the following:

Title: “Establishing the Oxidation-Reduction Potential in Semen and Seminal Plasma”
